Connectivity - PPPoE error 675 (XP), 651 (7 & 8)

I Am Getting Error 678, 691, or 769.

Error 678:

1)
Check modem lights for proper connection, (adsl is solid, lan is solid or flashing). Note the configuration of the lights.

2)
Powercycle the modem (pull power cable wait 30-60 seconds plug it back in). The ADSL light should flash then come on solid after about 60 seconds.

3)
The modem should be ready to connect, so retry your broadband connection.

4)
If ADSL flashes continually or is out then check modem connectivity issues.

Error 691:


1)
This error means that the username and/or password that you are using is NOT valid on our system.

2)
Please ensure your typing the username and password correctly.

3) If you need to have your password reset please call Internet Support at 519-395-3800 Option #2.

Error 769:


1)
Go to your start menu and open Control Panel.

Go to Network Connections/Network and Sharing - - > Manage Network Connections/Change Adapter Settings.

Check the Local Area Connection status. If it is disabled, Right click on it and enable the Local Area Connection.

4)
Wait for it to say Connected/Limited Connectivity/Unidentified then retry broadband connection.

5) If there is no Local Area Connection that indicates a problem on your computer that is either hardware or software related. If there is no Local Area Connections talk to a computer repair technician.
