The Audio/Video Committee is one of the “Support” ministries at North Street. Our committee’s function is two-fold:

1) To provide adequate sound quality for the congregation during church services, weddings, funerals and other functions in the Church sanctuary.
2) To provide outreach for shut-ins, and others who are unable to attend the church service. We video-tape, and make a DVD, of the church services on Sunday morning, and broadcast them that Sunday afternoon at 1 PM on cable 12 TV.

We have a small, but very active, committee of 6 members of our congregation: Mark Aitken, Sandy Stuart, Peter Morrison, Dree Park, Doug Zoethout, Greg Edwards and chair Doug Bundy.

A team of 10 young people operate the camera each Sunday. A dozen individuals, take the DVD recording to the Goderich Kinsmen Centre for broadcast over Channel 12 Cable every Sunday afternoon.

For individuals who use hearing aids, we can provide a “Personal Listening Device” to use during the church service. If you think you might like to try one of these, speak to one of the ushers on Sunday morning, or call Doug Bundy.

Our committee is committed to having good quality sound and television picture for each church service. Our volunteer operators try their best to make this possible. Most of the equipment is expensive and requires frequent up-grading. Donations are always welcome.
