Life force energy is what animates us, makes us alive. It flows through all living things. It is our spirit. It is us. It is all.

It is Love.

Welcome to Our Gardens...

Moonveil's spiral gardens were started in 1995.

Since all living things are flowing with life energy (chi, as it is called in the east), all living things have spirits or intelligences. Evolution is a combination of Darwin's "survival of the fittest" (negative evolution) and progressive spiritual advancement (positive evolution) by the species themselves, their interaction with others, and collectively in cooperation with others, be it plant, animal, minute organism or the earth herself. Some believe that earth is a living, breathing organism and that we are merely part of a greater whole.

A forest is more than just trees. It's the plants, the flowers, the rabbits, the mice, the salamanders, the moths, the butterflies and the worms in the decomposing leaves on the forest floor. It is teaming with life, flowing with life energy. It is all of this when we say "forest". Just as every human, dog or cat has it's own unique personality, so too does every forest.

So too does every garden.  You can aid in a garden's own self expression.

This small 4.2 acre century old farm, is where we, my partner, Keith, and I call home. In 1996 we began planting and nurturing the organic gardens here in alliance with nature intelligences. This holistic approach to gardening results in vegetables, herbs and flowers containing a very high level of life energy. We are always happy to have people come and enjoy a walk through the gardens. We began this style of gardening after reading the book: "Behaving as if the God in All Life Mattered" by Machaelle Small Wright, who in turn learned it from the people who grow the most magickal garden in Findhorn Scotland. Gardening in this fashion has changed forever the way we feel connected to nature and all things.

to be continued...

There are a variety of medicinal herbs grown here at MoonVeil, none seem so prolific as the stately Valerian plants...in full bloom they smell heavenly, they are cut back to keep them in check, the roots dug up and dried, kept for teas for friends with sleeping problems...MoonVeil Midnight Madness Tea sends you into deep slumber.

Other Summer and Wildflowers are adding colour to the gardens...

Composting is an essential part of gardening.
