Granite
benches have been dedicated to communities throughout Huron
County and South Bruce County to honour all Victims of Impaired Driving.
Please take time to sit on the granite bench at one of the following locations to rest, relax and reflect:
Exeter - landscape outside the arena
Clinton - beside Wesley Willis United Church
Seaforth - Lions Park near the information booth
Goderich - adjacent to the Tourist Information Building
Wingham - Horticultural park, corner of Josephine & Victoria Streets
Ripley - Gore Park
Kincardine - Queen Street fronting the Public Library
Walkerton - entrance to walking trail (across from Tim Horton's)

- R.I.D.E./Sobriety Checkpoints throughout Huron County and South Bruce County
- Blinking Safety Wands for use at R.I.D.E./Sobriety Checkpoints by Wingham Police Service, Huron OPP, South Bruce OPP
- 2 Alcotesters used to detect alcohol on the breath of
drivers for the South Bruce OPP
- Flashing Beacons used at R.I.D.E. checks by the Wingham
Police, Huron OPP and South Bruce OPP
- Ignition Interlock Device for public education and
demonstrations.
- "Fatal Vision" goggles used at school/ mall
presentations
- Partner - Operation Lookout, Grey/Bruce County
- Assist and support Ontario Students Against Impaired
Driving (O.S.A.I.D.)
- Financially contribute to New Year's Eve taxi rides
